A record, not a verdict

What State of Proof is

Significant mathematical claims now arrive, revise, and circulate faster than traditional review can follow. State of Proof is a public record built for that speed: each claim becomes a Proof Docket — an exact statement, a locked source version, reproducible evidence, and a precise list of what remains open.

It does not certify theorems, replace peer review, or issue a single confidence score. Statuses describe evidence collected for a defined scope — and an unresolved expert question, stated plainly, is a legitimate result.

How to read the record

Proof DocketThe complete record for one mathematical claim. Source LockThe exact version and hash examined. All evidence refers to it. Evidence RouteA computational, formal, literature, or expert-review method. Open StepA specific unresolved question requiring further work. State ChangeA dated material update added to a docket's public history. Proof BriefA periodic editorial digest of State Changes.

Material Shift

State of Proof is operated and funded by Material Shift as public protocol research. Each docket discloses its source, scope, evidence route, and stewardship. The trust and correction policy states the boundaries the project is committing to in public.

The Proof Brief

A periodic digest is planned after the first audit cycle. Until it launches, the docket and dated State Change archive are the authoritative public view.
